I write with the presumption that as you read this you are alone. Your eyes are open. You look at the world. Look to your left, take it in. Look to your right, take it in. I’d imagine that was quite boring. You’ve done it before many a time. You are in an area where you open your eyes, you see, you are comfortable.
There is of course a huge difference between looking into a room and looking into a soul.
Some questions for you…
When you are having a conversation, do you look at the person, or at the floor, ceiling, somewhere else?
When talking to someone, do you look at the person, or at the floor, ceiling, somewhere else?
When listening to someone, do you look at the person, or the floor, ceiling, somewhere else?
Go out. Have a discussion. Where did you look?
Walk down the street. Do you look at the strangers?
Of course, if you look people in the eyes, and if you look at strangers as you walk down the street, this lesson is almost useless. There is one lesson left that you can decipher.
But maybe you do not look at people.
Maybe you, like most people, look everywhere but at people…
Eye contact provokes fear…
Eye contact shows dominance…
Eye contact is body language that scares people…
Eye contact shows power.
Look at people when you’re talking to them. Then you can take in the body language and UNDERSTAND.
Look at strangers when you walk down the street. You’ll see alot more.
Look at your so called FRIENDS when you talk to them.
How many people do you scare?
