Well, until you figure that one out there is the next best thing, so ask yourself:
How do I fight?
Are you just a shouting warrior that curses in the front lines and stays in the back when the battle comes?
Such behavior speaks for itself.
Is there another question to make to yourself?

Reasons
Allies
Time
Heart
KNOWLEDGE
Do you know what you want?
Is it fame? Wealth? Pleasure of the flesh? New world order?
What matters here is to know what do you want, if you don't know...
You can always decide.
REASONS
Why?
Does it make you feel good? Do you believe it will make you feel good? Out of boredom?
Out of choice?
For the sake of experience it's an interesting reason too.
ALLIES
Do you need others?
A general with no army to command is a one person army.
A general with no shelter to plan or rest only has the wild.
A general that can't make of the wild an ally, has no one left.
If you need others and have no one on your side, are you prepared to fight alone?
TIME
How long are you willing to fight?
Do you have enough energy and resources?
If not, how much time are you willing to spend to gain them?
Once gained, are you still willing to go the distance?
In how much time do you wish to attain victory?
HEART
How much do you desire to win?
Even if you had to fight the whole world, would you still be willing to fight?
With no hesitation?
Until the end?
What are you willing to sacrifice?
Perhaps the comfortable secure zone of your daily life?
Where there is "no risk"?
Truth is that even in boldness one should be mindful.
But the dark side only favors the bold.
Most of the time in daily life once you know your goals, that's all you'll ever need, to know it and pursue no matter what nature it has, mundane or spiritual or anything else.
The only strategy you'll ever need is to work against all odds.
But more than anything, ask yourself one simple question:
How can I do it?
As many times as it takes to get one answer or more.
The only thing left to do once you answer yourself the previous question...
