Raw Thoughts on Being Sith
Your only master should be yourself, or you are a slave. The only vision you should follow is your own.
Anger, hatred, passion—raw emotions fuel the dark side, but they must be concentrated, crystallized into action. Anger is a gateway, but it must be controlled, harnessed—your will at the center, anger a weapon to wield, not be wielded by.
The Sith philosophy is action-oriented; it is not about introspection. Savagery in defiance of human morals prevails 90% of the time.
Transcend humanity with technology.
Power belongs to those with the strength to seize it—and the strength to resist those who try to take it. Power springs from conflict—placing yourself in conflict breeds strength. Anger is reserved for enemies.
Survival is the source of this power. We've grown so distant from survival, which is why it’s hard to feel its force. The power isn’t out there in the dark; it’s within you, in the darkness. In struggle, we chip away the mundane to reveal the heart, the flame that has always existed—the flame in the darkness.
Don’t fight in the forest — BURN the forest. A Sith amplifies everything to 11; they don't play by rules set by others. No mercy — complete destruction of your enemy in pursuit of your goals. Be like the Romans in Gaul.
Rely on yourself, and on others only through incentives. Pain leads to response, to action—it’s the key through which you declare, "Enough." Pain is a product of conflict, revealing the truth that peace is a lie, and passion is the truth.
The best action requires the minimum effort needed to achieve a desired outcome. Alternatively, commit fully to achieve your goals. Pain and fear are primal—they lead to strength and power because they demand a response: fight, flight, or ignorance. Choose to fight, and conflict will build power and strength. Anger is a response—white-hot fury, intensified against pain and fear—that leads to strength, to power.
To be Sith is to have endured great pain. The first step is to take your weakness, your fear, and transform it into anger, into strength.
Passion is when you work hard on something you love. Peace is a lie; conflict is the truth—the world is a chaotic collision of forces, full of excitement and anticipation as you pursue your inevitable goal.
Wrath, anger, emotions—they are just tools to kick-start the process and should be used as such. Apathy is death—when you stop caring, when you’re lazy, when you waste time—that is death. Rest must be in moderation if you are to truly enjoy life. These are false roads.
Technology is the mind-killer.
Force, knowledge, self-discipline.
Dark side, focus, vision.
To be Sith is to follow the ruthless pursuit of your passion.
What would a real Sith look like?
A keen awareness of death. Ruthlessly productive in the pursuit of their passion. Strength in body, mind, and soul. Crystal clear on what they want. A master weaver of plots, betrayals, and power plays to achieve their desired outcome. A follower of total war.
